From 2019–2024, I taught digital arts at New Roads School, a private school offering an inspired educational program to a diverse student body that mirrors the richness of Los Angeles. Below are examples of projects created by my students:


High School Graphic Design Class, Xerox Portrait GIFs (2024)

My role: Taught students how to photograph each other and apply a xerox treatment to their portraits, which they then animated into GIFs.


High School Graphic Design Class, Digital Painting Lesson (2024)

My role: Instructed students on the fundamentals of digital painting in Photoshop, guiding them to develop original digital artworks.


High School Graphic Design Class, Movie Posters (2024)

My role: Organized a guest session with Art Director and Key Artist, Eriko Ho, to teach students how to conceptualize and create cinematic movie posters.





High School Graphic Design Class, Album Covers and Mockups (2024)

My role: Taught students to source mockups and design dynamic album covers for their favorite music artists, combining creativity with professional presentation skills.




High School Graphic Design Class, Roy Lichtenstein Inspired Portrait Lesson (2022)

My role: Introduced students to 1980s pop art and demonstrated techniques to create Lichtenstein-style treatments for selfies.



Middle School Yearbook Class (2020-2022)

My role: Guided students through the entire yearbook process, teaching them how to organize content, design layouts, and produce a polished final publication.




High School Graphic Design Class, Dystopia/Utopia Lesson (2022)

My role: Explored dystopic and utopic art with students and demonstrated Photoshop adjustment layers and effects to enhance imagery and tell compelling visual stories. Students also learned how to build perspective in their digital images.
